An additional form definition feature has been added to The Template Maker, version 1.2. It appears in the Template Definition window as a pop-up menu entitled "Orientation:". This menu contains two menu items: Normal and Landscape. These selections are equivalent to their counterparts in the standard Print Setup... dialog (which is not available in The Template Maker or StickyBusiness). It is most appropriately used when defining forms which are too wide to be fed into LaserWriters in normal orientation. Let's examine the #10 Envelope template.
The #10 envelope measures 9-1/2 inches wide by 4-1/8 inches high. The LaserWriters, however, will not accept a form wider than 8-1/2 inches. We would define this template in the orientation described above, with a page width of 9.5 and a page height of 4.125. We would select the Laser form-type and the LandScape orientation. When viewed in the StickyBusiness Template Window the envelope would appear as defined: with its longest dimension horizontal on the screen. (Scroll bars would facilitate accessing areas not originally in the window). At print time, the envelope would be inserted into the LaserWriter with the top of the envelope facing the back of the printer, or in other words, with the return-address side of the envelope first.
